RHEDI joins TEACH: Continuing 20 years of empowering family medicine with high-quality abortion training.
RHEDI programs are family medicine residency programs which have integrated reproductive health education and training, including contraception and abortion. All RHEDI programs incorporate a reproductive justice framework in their approach to teaching, and have dedicated faculty to support residents interested in family planning.
Family Medicine residency programs are now eligible to apply to become RHEDI program sites. Certified programs will be approved for two years.

TEACH is proud to continue the important work of ensuring high quality abortion training is available for family medicine residents across the country. RHEDI resources can still be accessed at rhedi.org.
All RHEDI programs include didactics and clinical exposure to options counseling, medication abortion, procedural / aspiration abortion, miscarriage management, and contraception care. Each program has a dedicated sexual and reproductive health faculty member to support clinical education and career mentorship.
